Craig has been fishing Chautauqua Lake for over 40 years and guideson Chautauqua. While we are legally able too guide on all inland waters in New York we choose too go were the fishing is the best and offer our clients the best opportunity to catch the most and largest fish.
The word Chautauqua-is the native Indian word for bag tied in the middle. Chautauqua Lake is over 42,000 acres of some or the finest and most diverse fishing you’ll ever experience. With just over 42 miles of shoreline, the southern basin is the shallowest of the two the basin, with deepest spots around 15 feet. While the northern basin offers depths down to 70 feet.
New York State has stocked over 1.5 million walleye fry and fingerlings in Chautauqua Lake since 2005 and we are starting to see the first years stocking coming into full maturity the past couple of years.
Father's Day Weekend is the start of the muskie and bass seasons
on Chautauqua Lake. Chautauqua Lake is currently ranked the number one most fished inland body of water in New York State.
While muskie is the king on Chautauqua Lake, Craig is known as a the go to guy on Chautauqua Lake for putting muskies in the boat.  Bass and walleye take no back seat to muskie, Chautauqua Lake offers some of the finest and most diverse fishing opportunities in the Empire State.
The 2012 season promises to be another busy fishing season for us.

Our fishing trips run six hour and we start at first light. We haven’t raised our prices in four seasons are still holding the lone at $300 based on two anglers-each additional angler is $75.

With two boats in our “fleet” we can now do corporate trips for up to 10 people.
